3. Service Description
Calegg is a nutritional analysis application that uses artificial intelligence to identify foods in photographs and estimate their nutritional composition. The service includes meal logging, nutritional history and goal tracking.
4. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on Calegg, you expressly accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. Continued use after publication of new terms implies acceptance.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Calegg. By registering, you declare that you are of legal age. Access to the service is personal and non-transferable.
6. Accuracy of Analyses
Nutritional analyses are AI-based estimates and may not be exact. Caloric and nutritional values are approximate and may vary based on preparation method, portion size and food variety. Calegg does not guarantee the accuracy of analyses.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights over Calegg (brand, logo, design, software, content) belong to Manuel Cugat Sánchez. Reproduction, distribution or modification without written authorisation is prohibited.
8. User Content
Photos and information you share with Calegg remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your content for other purposes or share it with third parties beyond those listed in the Privacy Policy.
9. Use Restrictions
The following are prohibited:
• Using the service for commercial purposes without authorisation.
• Attempting unauthorised access to Calegg systems.
• Reverse engineering of the software.
• Using the service to spread false or harmful medical information.
• Sharing your account with third parties.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
Calegg offers monthly and annual subscription plans managed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless actively cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings in the respective stores.
11. Right of Withdrawal
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of purchase without justification, provided you have not used the service. To exercise this right, contact legal@calegg.com.
12. Limitation of Liability
Calegg shall not be liable for damages arising from use of nutritional analyses to make health, dietary or medical treatment decisions. The user assumes full responsibility for their dietary choices. Calegg's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months.
13. Service Availability
Calegg does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates or force majeure events.
14. Amendments and Termination
We may amend these Terms with 30 days' notice by email. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the Spanish courts. Consumer protection laws applicable to consumers shall apply where required.
